Products
The Products section in Avvyr helps you manage your entire product catalog, from basic product setup to advanced customization with variants, attributes, and multi-market pricing. AI-powered tools and bulk management features help you save time when working on your product offerings.
Features of the Products section
At minimum, a product in Avvyr needs three things: a name, a SKU, and an attribute template. From there, you can add descriptions, images, videos, pricing per market, inventory levels, variants, categories, tags, and many other details that help you display and sell your products.
Product details
When you add a product to Avvyr, you can configure all the relevant settings:
- Name and handle — Craft product names with localized translations. The URL handle is auto-generated from the name but can be customized.
- SKU — A unique identifier for each product used across your catalog, integrations, and inventory.
- Attributes — Flexible fields defined by attribute templates. Supports text, rich text, numbers, booleans, dates, and select lists — all with multi-language support.
- Media — Upload images, PDFs, and videos. Drag-and-drop reordering lets you control the display order, and the first image becomes the main product image.
- Pricing — Set base price, recommended retail price, wholesale price, purchase price, cost, and special prices per market and currency.
- Inventory — Track stock quantities per warehouse with on-hand, sellable, and reserved quantities.
For a complete list of details and step-by-step instructions, refer to the product details documentation.
Product types
Avvyr supports several product types to cover different catalog needs:
- Simple — A standalone product without variants. Ideal for products sold in a single configuration.
- Variant — A product with multiple options like size and color. A parent product defines the variant axes, and each combination is a child variant with its own SKU and inventory.
- Bundle — A package of multiple products sold together. Bundles can use fixed pricing or dynamic pricing calculated from the component products.
