Getting Started

Setting Up Markets

Create and configure markets to define the regions, currencies, and languages where you sell.

Markets are the foundation of multi-region selling in Avvyr. Each market represents a region or channel where you sell, with its own currency, language, pricing, shipping, and payment configuration.

Your store comes with one default market created during provisioning. You can use it as-is or create additional markets.

Understanding markets

A market controls:

  • Currency — The currency used for pricing and transactions
  • Language — The language for product content and customer communications
  • Country — The primary country for tax and shipping calculations
  • Pricing — Market-specific product prices
  • Payment methods — Which payment providers are available
  • Shipping — Carriers, rates, and shipping rules
  • VAT — Whether prices include or exclude VAT
Products are shared across all markets, but pricing, visibility, and availability can be configured independently per market.

  4. Enable the payment method

Shipping

Configure shipping options for the market:

  • Carriers — The delivery companies available (e.g. PostNord, DHL)
  • Shipping products — Specific shipping services per carrier
  • Shipping rules — Weight-based, price-based, or flat-rate shipping calculations
