Shipping Methods
Configure shipping zones, methods, and rules for each market in Avvyr.
Each market can have its own shipping configuration with zones, methods, and rules. Manage shipping under Settings → Markets → Market → Shipping Methods.
Shipping zones
Shipping zones define geographic areas for delivery. Each zone can have different shipping methods and rates.
- Create zones to represent different delivery areas (e.g., domestic, Nordic, international).
- Assign shipping methods to each zone with specific pricing and delivery options.
Shipping methods
Shipping methods define the available delivery options within a zone. Configure:
- Method name and description.
- Pricing — Fixed price, weight-based, or cart-value-based rules.
- Shipping agent — The carrier responsible for fulfillment.
- Shipping product — The specific service level from the carrier.
Shipping rules
Shipping rules add conditions that control when specific shipping methods are available. Rules can be based on:
- Cart value thresholds (e.g., free shipping over a certain amount).
- Product weight ranges.
- Other order-level conditions.
Storefront shipping
The storefront exposes shipping options to customers during checkout:
- Available options are resolved per market based on the configured zones and rules.
- The customer's delivery address determines which zone applies.
- Cart-level shipping is updated dynamically as the cart changes.
