Warehouse Operations
Use the WMS module for picking, inbound processing, stock taking, and stock movements.
The Warehouse Operations module (WMS) provides a dedicated interface for warehouse staff to process daily operations — from receiving goods to picking orders and conducting stock counts.
Accessing Warehouse Operations
Navigate to Inventory → Warehouse Operations. You will be asked to log in with your operator credentials and select a station (workstation). This creates a dedicated WMS session separate from the main application.
Available operations
| Operation | Description |
|---|---|
| Overview | Dashboard showing pending tasks and operation summaries. |
| Picking | Pick individual orders — scan items and confirm they are packed for shipping or pickup. |
| Batch picking | Pick multiple orders at once to improve efficiency in high-volume warehouses. |
| Inbound | Receive incoming shipments — scan and register goods arriving from suppliers or other warehouses. |
| Stock taking | Conduct physical stock counts — scan products and update quantities to match what's on the shelf. |
| Stock move | Transfer stock between bin locations within the same warehouse. |
| Stock adjustments | Increase or decrease stock with a reason code, directly from the WMS interface. |
Scanning workflow
Most operations follow a scan-based workflow:
- Select the operation type.
- Scan or search for the product.
- Confirm or enter quantities.
- The system updates inventory in real time.
This interface is optimized for mobile devices and barcode scanners, making it practical for warehouse staff moving through aisles.
